We have been a fan of JULY since first discovering their legendary 60’s album in the late 70’s. It is such fabulous music and embodies all that was good about the late 60’s Psychedelic movement. Many albums from that period had a couple of nice songs but every track on their debut LP was a classic. They have many converts to the cause and the original album continues it’s upwards price rise as each new generation discovers it and wants one for themselves. Now fetching £2500 for a nice copy and shows no sign of losing value anytime soon.

Resurrection
When we heard there was to be a new album from the nucleus of the original July i.e. Peter Cook and Tom Newman we were very excited. It was originally released just on CD with next to no distribution and a rather lacklustre cover. The music was a revelation however; they still have the knack of writing songs with a very psychedelic feel with effects and some stunning distorted guitar. After much asking (and a little begging) we finally acquired the rights to be able to spread this wonderful music to the vinyl buying collectors of this world. We cannot tell you how proud we are to add this release to our small but perfectly formed label, Psychotron Records.
We had to lose the odd track to fit it on vinyl but all the best tunes are on here.
500 copies only pressed for worldwide distribution. A newly designed psychedelic 1960’s style flipback cover, and a special edition of only 90 copies with a full colour large poster of the cover design.
